In today's electrolytic zinc plant and hot-dip galvanizing plant production process will produce zinc ash zinc slag, the main components are zinc oxide, metal zinc and some impurities. Zinc oxide and zinc metal are recyclable, but they need to be separated before they can be used. Conventional process equipment has low recovery rates, poor work efficiency, and pollution, which can be treated with a zinc ash separator.

How does the zinc ash separator separate impurities?

The equipment used today is mainly composed of a main engine, a fan, a dust collector, a pipe and a motor connection, so that the overall connection is tight and a negative pressure cycle is formed inside. The equipment work is to suck the zinc ash and zinc slag into the main machine, and the mechanical force and centrifugal force are rotated by the internal grinding roller around the grinding ring at high speed. After grinding, impurities, zinc particles, zinc oxide and the like are generated inside the host machine. Because of the different physical properties, the zinc particles are subjected to a change in shape and quality, and are discharged from the bottom of the zinc ash separator. Impurities and zinc oxide are ground into fine powder in the main body, and are drawn by the fan into the separator. The gas enters the dust collector for filtration, and the clean gas is discharged into the atmosphere.

Increase utilization and reduce costs

The zinc particles collected at the bottom of the equipment can be fed into a furnace to form a zinc ingot, which can be sold or processed into other products. In turn, the separation of zinc oxide and metal zinc can ensure high recovery rate and meet national environmental protection standards. The use of a good zinc ash separatoris smooth, reducing the number of failures and reducing maintenance costs. Used in hot-dip galvanizing plants and electrolytic zinc plants, not only can the zinc ash slag produced by the equipment be processed through multiple processes to obtain available zinc, but also other impurities can be turned into fine powder, filtered by the dust collector. No polluting gases are emitted into the atmosphere to improve the workshop environment.
